How to go :
By Ship
Express boat is middle boat, it to have a capacity for 150 persons, services 2 times daily. It takes around 4 hours for the journey.
Night boat is normal boat and transport goods, 2 steps , have capacity for 160 persons. Travel in night time, also provides a bed for total passengers, services 2 times daily. It takes around 8 hours for the journey.
Ferry boat is the large boat and transport goods, have capacity of passenger around 500 persons with car, truck or van around 50 vehicles. Services 4 times daily, it takes around 6 hours for the journey.
By Bus
The distance from Bangkok go to Surat Thani totaling 650 kilometers by;
Train fee is 80 baht
Air-conditioned bus fee is 400 baht
Standard bus fee is 200 baht
The distance from Surat Thani to Pha Ngan island, by
Standard bus fee is 40 baht,

What / Why :
Located in the territory of Pha Ngan island, that is Pha Ngan island forest of national forest reservation, there are waterfall, forest and the animal is quite, then can develop the place of travel in future. The Royal Forest Department has surveyed; Pha Ngan island forest of national forest reservation, Namtok Than Sadet forest, Khao Lat Kaeo forest, Khao Khai forest, Khao Ta Luang forest, Khao Hin Nok forest, Laem Pho–Laem Kata Khwa forest and Khao Fai Mai forest. Nowadays, in the processing has proclaim it to be a national park and using call of the name “Than Sadet – Ko Phangan National Park” , covers a total area of approximately 65.93 sq. km.
Accommodations : This National park is still in establishing process, so there are no bungalows, tents, and a restaurant available. Please bring your own tents and food.

Going by train from Thon Buri Railway
Station (Bangkok Noi) to Nam Tok Railway Station (Sai Yoke Noi) and rent a small
bus for about 34 kilometers on the road Kanchanaburi – Thong Pha Phum then turn
left at Km. 81 for another 3 kilometers to the waterfall.
By Bus
From
Kanchanaburi use the highway 323 (Kanchanaburi - Thong Pha Phum) to km. 81, then
turn left and go for 3 km. To Sai Yok National Park Headquarters. Tourist who
come by train, you can got off the train at Sai Yok Noi Railway Station and take
a bus to Sai Yok National Park's Headquarters for 34 km.
What / Why :
Sai Yok National Park is 98 km. from Kanchanaburi, located in Amphur Thong Pha Phum and Sai Yok . The Park was designated on the 27th October 1980 as the 11th National Park of Thailand, with a total area of 500 km2. The park is mountainous, mostly limestone mountain runs on north-south axis. In the past, Sai Yok National Park is an area King Rama 5 used to visit and take a bath in a stream. Later, there was a composer, who composed a song describes the wonderful of Sai Yok Waterfall, the waterfall becoming famous.
