When my family and I saw Tohsang City Hotel at first time, we thought it was an old-fashioned hotel. The room looked out-of-date. After stay there 1 night, We change our point of view. The room was very tidy. Hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We also like the hotel design--it s classic design. If we go to Ubonratchathani again, we will stay at Tohsang City Hotel. One one side the hotel itself is very good. A nice big room, and good bathroom. The staff was serviceminden, amd the breakfast was ok. On the other side the hotel is rather a long way from town, and transport isn t always avalable (in general Ubon has a transportproblem, since most of the tuk tuk drivers are in the dumb or dumber-category . The do not know their own town, and speak neither english nor thai.) I was also woken very early each morning by the local cock. If I had managed to sleep through that I would have waked up a little later because of the many overflights - at a very very low altitude - to and from the nearby airforcebase.
