We loved the room which we had to upgrade to and pay extra, and to call the bungalows deluxe was a joke we had to move back to the room I originally booked which I thought was the premier room was terrible and very low end of the market. A little bit expensive but probably worth it. Very efficient experience for check in (not used to this in Thailand). Check in at the pier and they take your bags and pretty much walk you through to the boat and onto a taxi the other side. I had heard some bad press about their bungalows. I did see some old ones but it seemed that we were put into some newer ones that had just been renovated. Not bad. The entire resort is very well kept and the restaurant area on the main beach seems very new. I was told the food and the service in the hotel restaurant was not so great but I actually found both to be excellent.
